On 04/06/2018, at Thu Dau Mot University, Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Binh Duong province celebrated World Environment Day (05/06). Participants in the meeting included Mr. Mai Hung Dung- Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee; representatives of departments, unions and more than 1,000 students, youth union members in the province.
On the occasion of the festival, GSV has accompanied the World Environment Day 2018 as a donor with a total donation of nearly 50 million VND for the activity "Changing waste, receiving gift ".
The World Environment Day 2018 is an opportunity for GSV together with the provincial leadership to announce the awareness of environmental protection in order to raise awareness of environmental protection by bringing the scrap batteries to the legal collection places, reducing lead and acid waste to the environment, encouraging the proper usage of batteries to increase battery life, and reducing the waste which can impact into our environment. With the principle “Doing business along with protecting the environment to lead to stable development”, GSV hopes to contribute a small part to the protection of our green environment.
