GS Battery Vietnam accompanies the “Hazard Perception Skills” program for primary school students in Dak Lak province.

Responding to the "Digital literacy" movement – an initiative aimed at helping children in remote, and border areas have the opportunity to access technology, knowledge, and safe living skills – the National Traffic Safety Committee in collaboration with BVOT Group Co., Ltd. organized the program "Building safe and civilized traffic participation habits" through the "Hazard Perception Skills" game technology on computers, at two primary schools, Cao Thang and Be Van Dan, in Ea Knuec commune, Krong Pac district, Dak Lak province.

In particular, GS Battery Vietnam is the companion and sponsor for the program, bringing meaningful gifts and rewards to the students, contributing to spreading joy and a learning spirit throughout the activity.

Most of the participating students are ethnic minority children, living in areas with many difficulties in infrastructure and transportation. Therefore, having access to the interactive educational skills program "Hazard Perception Skills" via computer is a new and rewarding experience for them.

At Be Van Dan Primary School, about 100 students from grades 3, 4, and 5 participated in the "Hazard Perception Skills" training session through a game simulating real-life traffic situations. The content was built to be close to the topographical conditions of the Central Highlands such as winding steep roads, suspension bridges over streams, landslide areas, or cattle moving on the road, helping them practice observation, reflexes, and safe situation handling.

Meanwhile, at Cao Thang Primary School, more than 300 students experienced interactive games on computers, suitable for their higher technology accessibility. The learning atmosphere was lively, mixed with the laughter and excitement of the students as they overcame the challenging "traffic safety tests" together.

As a sponsoring companion, GS Battery Vietnam has prepared hundreds of gifts and rewards to encourage the students' learning spirit. A GS representative shared: "GS Vietnam always believes that educating on “Hazard Perception Skills” and traffic safety awareness from an early age is an important foundation for children to know how to protect themselves and others when participating in traffic. This is part of our long-term commitment to the community.”

A representative of Be Van Dan Primary School shared their thoughts: "We highly appreciate the companionship of GS Battery Vietnam in this program. Thanks to the support of the business, the students – especially ethnic minority students in the highlands, have had the opportunity to participate in a truly rewarding activity, helping them learn risk identification skills and protect themselves when participating in traffic. These are practical and meaningful lessons that the school very much hopes to maintain and replicate in the future.”

Small but meaningful gifts have brought joy, motivation, and warm care to highland students, where learning conditions are still lacking, but the spirit of learning is always abundant. The companionship of businesses like GS Battery Vietnam is not only about material sponsorship but also demonstrates social responsibility in building a generation of students with a sense of safety, civility, and readiness to reach for a bright future.

According to a representative of BVOT Group, the program will continue to be implemented in many provinces and cities across the country, with special priority given to remote and isolated areas, to bring traffic skills education technology closer to children. The participation of accompanying units such as GS Battery Vietnam is expected to help the program spread widely, becoming a practical, humane, and sustainable annual activity.

Closing the program in Dak Lak are the innocent smiles, eager eyes, and proactive learning spirit of the children, demonstrating the positive spread of the journey of sowing the seeds of "Safety - Knowledge - Future" in the sunny and windy highlands.
