Ha Noi, 6th - 7th August 2016 - Motorbike Care Day offered people in the capital 2 meaningful weekend days with motorbike care and consulting services, as well as interesting entertainment activities. The event also helps consolidate the close-knit collaboration among 4 well-known spare part brands from Japan: GS Battery, NGK Spark Plugs, Idemitsu Lubricant and IRC/ INOUE Tire, attracting the attendance of over 800 motorbikes and more than 2,500 customers.
Ha Noi - “capital” of motorbikes
According to Ha Noi City People Committee, until the end of December 2015, the average number of registered motorbikes in every single day reached 630 units. Moreover, it is also predicted that the figure of motorbikes in Ha Noi in 2020 will reach approximately 7 billion units.
Besides, despite the increasing level of motorbikes, transport infrastructure condition in the city has been limited, which leads to the traffic congestion. This has directly affected the working status and quality of motorbikes. Therefore, the demand on motorbike care and maintenance is the top concern of people using motorbikes here.
Motorbike Care Day with thorough and free-of-charge care services in Ha Noi capital
This is 3rd time event which 4 spare part brands together set up.
It is 4th time event, GSV corporates with NGK Spark Plug, and it 12th time event, GSV set up Motorbike event.
The professional and skillful technicians from 4 top spare part brands helped “diagnose” for customers’ motorbikes with 4 thorough vehicle care steps:
- Step 1: Battery care, maintenance and consulting services provided by GS, including battery voltage measurement, liquid level, filling distilled water...
- Step 2: Idemitsu Lubricant offered customers lubricant check process by applying its outstanding technology, helping customers well understand the status of vehicles’ lubricant
- Step 3: Spark plug care and check services supplied by NGK, consisting of spark plug check and clean, along with advising customers to change spark plug every 8,000km to contribute to vehicles’ better operation and fuel saving
- Step 4: Tire care and check conducted by IRC/ INOUE Tire, composed of tire tread and standard pressure check...helping with better vehicle operation as well as safety driving
Above all, customers attending the event received technical advice in order to well understand their vehicles. Meanwhile, they are also provided with necessary knowledge about motorbike care and maintenance, contributing to their safety and convenience when driving. 
“If my motorbike has any troubles, I usually take it to motorbike garages and totally have the technicians there take care of it. Sometimes when they recommend mending or changing the vehicle’s spare parts, I often agree with them due to my lack of technical knowledge. However, I am equipped with much knowledge about my vehicle when participating in the event today. I think I will be more confident when my motorbike has any troubles in the upcoming time”, said Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, one of the very first customers attending the event.
Just after 2 days of the event 6th - 7th August 2016, organized in Agriculture commerce promotion centre, 489 Hoang Quoc Viet St., Cau Giay, Hanoi, Motorbike Care Day attracted the attendance of over 800 motorbikes and more than 2,500 customers, remarking another success in the close-knit collaboration among 4 prestigious Japanese spare part brands. With positive feedbacks from customers, the event will continue its meaningful journey in other cities and provinces within the country in the upcoming time.
