On 10th April 2016, in Labour Culture Palace HCMC, Department of Natural Resources and Environment of HCMC organized the 9th Recycle Day 2016, with the topic “Sustainable consumption and production”. This is annual activity to raise people’s knowledge in environmental protection.
This year, GS Battery Vietnam Co. Ltd continually joined and sponsored for the event 2.000 plastic fans, 3.500 picture stories to childrens and prize of “3T Beautiful” contest to students of universities in HCMC. In GS booth, we attracted more than 2.000 visitors visiting and playing gameshow “Challenging with GS” to give meaningful gifts. At the same time, GSV propagandized and collected a lot of discarded batteries from customers to give useful gifts such as helmet, water bottle, basket.
This is an opportunity for GSV and leader of Natural Resources and Environment dept to propaganda to the public for protecting environment by bringing the discarded batteries to GSV legal collection places to prevent the illegal collector from dumping the acid and lead to the environment, using the batteries correctly, increasing the battery life, reducing disposal into the environment. With these realistic activities, GSV hope to contribute to green environmental protection.
