GSV was honored to be invited to join the seminar on “Legal development on retrieval and disposal of discarded products in Vietnam” on 25th November, 2014 because Legal Department of Vietnam Environment Administration realized that GS Battery Vietnam co., Ltd is highly interested in the activities on tacking back, treating discarded products in order to protect environment as new law on Environmental Protection stipulated.
At this seminar, GSV gave some opinions related to taking back, treating discarded products such as setting up the system of collection places, simplifying procedures on taking back, treating discarded products (issuing invoice, document, business certificate when taking back, treating discarded products…), stipulating the maximum price for discarded products to stabilize the market and prevent from unfair competition.
Also GSV admires Vietnam Government activities to build the law on collecting and recycling the discarded batteries because Vietnam is the first country on ASEAN to start this meaningful activities for good environment purpose. Therefore, GSV shall cooperate to join in this activities of collecting and recycling the discarded batteries.
This seminar is a chance for enterprises to exchange the experiences in taking back, treating discarded products as well as enhance the manufacturer’s responsibilities in protecting environment.
