Event and Short Video Contest at Tran Phu High School – Da Nang

GS Vietnam Shares Battery Usage Knowledge and Organizes Short Video Challenge at High Schools in Da Nang

Da Nang, March 24 – After a thorough evaluation process, GS Vietnam officially announced and awarded the First Prize to the most outstanding entry in the video challenge campaign titled “Identifying Risk Situations – Traffic Safety”, held at Tran Phu High School, Da Nang City, in mid-March.

The campaign encouraged over 2,400 students of Tran Phu High School to create short videos depicting traffic situations. With more than 100 submitted and widely shared videos, the program brought diverse, creative, and practical perspectives on traffic safety. The entries not only demonstrated serious investment but also reflected the younger generation’s strong awareness and concern for daily traffic safety issues.

Among many impressive submissions, the First Prize was awarded to an emotional video portraying a humble motorbike repairman. During the day, he earns a living through repair work; at night, he quietly collects scrap to make ends meet. Despite his hardships, he always stops to help students fix their bikes free of charge when they encounter issues on the road. These small yet meaningful acts created an authentic and deeply touching story.

What made the video stand out was not only its content but also its refined execution. The iconic Dragon Bridge of Da Nang, glowing at night, was skillfully incorporated into the scenes, creating visually emotional frames. Amid the city’s shimmering lights, the image of this modest man emerged as a symbol of silent kindness—an ordinary value with extraordinary impact.

Beyond its humanistic story, the video also conveyed a clear message about traffic safety. Through realistic situations, it helped students improve their awareness of potential risks and encouraged a spirit of support and sharing when participating in traffic. This aligns with the program’s core goal: to build a generation that not only understands but also actively contributes to community safety.

A representative of GS Vietnam shared: “We highly appreciate the creativity and dedication of the students. The First Prize-winning entry stands out not only in content but also in its emotional impact, spreading positive and humanistic values—exactly what the program aims to achieve.”

Previously, the campaign “Identifying Risk Situations – Traffic Safety” was launched on March 9, 2026, at Tran Phu High School (Da Nang City), with the participation of over 2,400 students. The program was endorsed by the National Traffic Safety Committee, sponsored by GS Battery Vietnam Co., Ltd., and organized by BVOT Group in collaboration with the school. Aimed at enhancing awareness and building safe traffic habits among high school students, the program encouraged participants to express their perspectives through creative and realistic video content.

In addition, the event featured interactive Q&A sessions on common traffic situations and mobile-based games, allowing students to actively participate, practice risk identification, and improve their situation-handling skills. Through this engaging approach, the program helped students realize that everyday behaviors may carry hidden risks, thereby fostering safer traffic habits.
